  Póvoa's Marina


Póvoa de Varzim is located at 21mi south of Viana do Castelo. The harbour entrance is facing south and is protected by an exterior, north breakwater heading SSW, with a red flashes light and siren. The other breakwater, south breakwater heading NNW, has at the top a long flashes light. Although well protected from the northwest, the entrance can be difficult with strong swell; even with moderate swell, it set out at the top of the breakwater. There are dangers off the northern coast, so a guard of 2 mi should be provided. The south coast is formed by sand and rock; due to the presence of hazards along the coast, the navigation must be carried out outside the 20 m bathymetric. The port is protected by a railing.  Porto Atlântico Marina


The port of Leixões is located at 2.5 mi north of the mouth from the Douro River, between Leça da Palmeira and Matosinhos. The best references are the lighthouse of Leça and the chimneys of the refinery. The marina is located at the northwest part of the dock. The navigation should take care of ships anchored outside the harbor, especially during times of fog, as well as of the fishing fleet that usually goes out to sea at sunset. For more information

 Viana Marina


Viana Marina is located next to the mouth of the Lima River and well protected within the port of Viana do Castelo. It is formed by two docks, one downstream of the metal bridge (vessels up to 18m) and another upstream for smaller vessels. The main references are the Montedor lighthouse at 4M north of the port and Monte de Santa Luzia. Both North and South, there are dangers along the coast. As a precaution, do not go inside the 20m bathymetric. The entrance channel is dredged at 8m until to the commercial pier. The access to the marina is dredged at 3 m. Attention to the strong transverse currents of either flood or ebb; it is forbidden to anchor in the river. For more information

  Leisure Dock of Fontaínhas


The city of Setúbal is located on the estuary of the River Sado. The interior of the port has great traffic (local vessels, fishing vessels and commercial ships). The marina is located at the west top of the Commerce Dock, which also houses the ferry pier. For more information

Leisure Dock of Alcântara


The dock is located inside the port structure of Alcântara, 1 mi upstream of the 25 de Abril bridge. The entrance is protected from currents by a small basin. It is the most likely place for a visitor yacht to get parking. The area has seal. For more information

 Leisure Dock of Belém


The dock is located about 1000 m upstream from the Torre de Belém, next to the Monument of the Discoveries. The currents, in the flood and ebb, are crossed and can reach 4-5 knots during storm tides. The dock is usually filled with local boats. For more information

Leisure Dock of Santo Amaro


The dock is located about 150 m upstream from the 25 de Abril Bridge. The entrance is narrow and the currents, in the flood and ebb, are crossed and can reach 4-5 knots in storm tides. For more information

The dock is located immediately upstream from the Torre de Belém. The currents, in the flood and ebb are crossed and can reach 4-5 knots in storm tides. The dock is usually filled with local boats. For more information

 Torreira's Marina


The coast in the area is continuous beach. In bad weather, stay out outside the 20m bathymetric, which comes from North or South. The main reference of the area is the lighthouse of Aveiro, with red lists and 65m of height. Amarina is located on the west side of the Ovar channel, about 10.5 m of the mouth of estuary.  Ribeira's Marina


The Port of Peniche is located in the southern part of the Peniche peninsula, about 1.5 mi from the ESE of Cape Carvoeiro. It is well protected from the North cold. During the South winds, the sea is felt inside the marina. Coming from the north, the current in the channel between the Farilhões and Berlenga throw to this one. The channel between Berlenga and Cape Carvoeiro is usually more agitated due to tidal currents. The main references are the Berlenga and Cabo Carvoeiro headlamps. The 120 m entrance is turned to SSE and is protected by two piers; the west jetty is approximately 700 m and the east 450 m. More information

 
 Cascais's Marina


The marina is situated in the bay of Cascais. During the summer the wind predominates in the north; when the Sintra Mountain Range is covered with clouds, it is a sign of strong North cold. During the winter it is often the wind blowing from S or SW which causes great sea turmoil in the area. When approaching from the north, give 1 mi of shelter to the coast since nets and fishing frames are often placed at 0.5 mi at least. The approaches from south and east are easier. They are relevant brands in the area: to the East - the lighthouses Bugio and S. Julião and to the West the lighthouses of Guia and St.ª Marta. For more information

The Tróia Peninsula is renowned for its natural beauty with its unique landscapes on the Arrábida Mountain Range and the Natural Reserve of Sado Estuary. It is an artificial fishing port well sheltered without danger in approach. It is located 1 mi the SSE of Pontal da Nazaré; although the Recreation Club is quite pleasant, it is situated 2 km from the village centre. For more information

Figueira da Foz's Recreation Dock


Figueira da Foz is situated 2.5 mi south of Cape Mondego, an important reference, and its port is at the mouth of the Mondego River. The marina is located about 0.7 mi from the breakwaters of the Barra entrance, from the port quarter. For more information

Oeiras's Recreation Dock


The entrance of Recreation Dock of Oeiras is approximately 0.5 mi upstream of the S. Julião Lighthouse (0c R 5s), with a range of 14 mi, installed on a grey prismatic tower with red dome, at an altitude of 41 m, located at the coordinates 38º40, 466'N/ 9º19, 515'W. For more information

Sesimbra's Recreation Dock


The port, well protected by a breakwater of 900 m, is located 2 km from Sesimbra. The relevant brands are the lighthouse of Cabo Espichel and the lighthouse of Forte do Cavalo. At the northern approach give a safeguard of 0.5 mi to the coast. Care should be taken with the area of ??submarine cable where it is not allowed to anchor. The north winds are frequent, getting up at the end of the afternoon. More information

 Amieira's Marina

 Porto Atlântico Marina


The zone is formed by several islands that constitute a natural reserve with the inherent restrictions. The entrance with about 200 m, between the islands of Cabo de Santa Maria and Culatra, is bounded by two SSW-oriented breakwaters with tail lights. Along the coast it is expected a current of 3 knots. The 10 m bathymetric is about 1 mi from the coast. Main reference is the lighthouse of C. de Santa Maria. This recreational dock is filled throughout the year with local vessels and Club members. For more information

 Albufeira's Marina


The coast is formed by sandy beaches at the base of slopes or cliffs. The main brands are the Albufeira´s lighthouse and the water deposit of the Serro d'Águia at the top of the hill. During the summer, strong breezes start early in the afternoon to SW, running for W, calming at sunset to WNW or NW. The marina is located inside the Várzea da Orada and communicates with the sea through a channel that connects it to a basin protected by two piers of the SSW winds. For more information

 Lagos´s Marina


Lagos is situated at 1.5 mi north of Ponta da Piedade, 17 mi east of Cape St. Vincent and 7 mi west of Portimão. At the western approach, the 5 m bathymetric is located about 400 m from the coast, north of Ponta da Piedade. From this, use the threading tower of the west breakwater by the church of St. Anthony 282º. The bridge, which operates from 08.00 to 22.00 between 1st June and 15th September and from 09.00 to 19.00 in the rest of the year the above mentioned schedule, opens on request via VHF 9. The bridge, with 11 m wide, closes 15 minutes before departure of each train (5 per day). From May to October, the north cold prevails, strength 4-5 during the afternoon slowing down at night. Good anchorages can be found in Alvor, Burgau and Baleeira. For more information

 Portimão's Marina


The coast is formed by sandy beaches at the base of slopes or cliffs. The main brands are Ponta da Piedade to the West and Ponta de Alfanzina to East. During the summer, strong breezes start early in the afternoon to SW, running for W, calming at sunset to WNW or NW. The entrance of the river Arade, marked by the Ponta do Altar, east of Praia da Rocha, is protected by two breakwaters about 250 m wide. The town lies on the west side of the river interior about 2 m from the Barra. On the side opposite from marina, to the East, is Farragut. For more information

 Vilamoura´s Marina


During the summer, strong breezes start early in the afternoon to SW, running for W, calming at sunset to WNW or NW. The main brands are the Ponta de Alfanzina to the West and the Cabo de Santa Maria to the Southwest. The marina has its own lighthouse with measurement area of 19 mi located in the control tower. The Vilamoura Marinotel, next to the entrance of the marina, is an important reference since the breakwaters are difficult to see from a distance. For more information

Sines's Recreational Port


The port entrance is located at 1.5 mi south of the Cabo de Sines and is protected by a 1.7 mi N-S-oriented breakwater. The southern part of the submerged breakwater is marked by a red buoy. The entrance is quite wide. The dominant winds are N and NW; during winter there may be stronger winds from S and SW. The visibility is good throughout of the year; the fog, if any, appeared usually between July and October, during the night and morning, dissipating in the afternoon. The main brands are Cabo de Sines and four tall chimneys. For more information

Guadiana's Recreational Port


The Guadiana River forms the southeast border between Portugal and Spain. On both sides of the river the coast is formed by sandy beaches. In the zone of the river mouth the 10 m bathymetric is 2 mi offshore. In the western approach, the tall buildings of Monte Gordo and the lighthouse of Via Real are conspicuous points. Approaching this pointing, the towers of apartments of Isla Cristina are visible. Viewed from the outside, the suspension bridge over the river, located about 2 m north of Vila Real de St. Antonio, is visible. The documentation can be submitted to reception.
